In 2009 Time magazine placed New Calvinism third on their list of the 10 ideas changing the ‘World Right Now’. While the term New Calvinism is seldom heard in the UK, the ideas and teachings of New Calvinism has nevertheless penetrated deep into the UK evangelical camp. Three theologians from the USA, widely accepted as standing at the centre of New Calvinism, namely Dr Tim Keller, Pastor John Piper and Pastor Mark Driscoll, have become very influential among evangelical Christians in the UK.
